Serving the public and the City Commission, the Administration Department is the primary contact for the City of South Pasadena.

Primary Responsibilities

General Administrative Matters
   • Ordinance, Resolution and Agenda preparation
   • Recording and noticing of Commission meetings
   • Contracts, including application of bid procedures and administration of contracts
   • Legal advertising
   • The release of any and all official notices to the press or other news media
   • Codification
   • Human resources
   • All duties not specifically assigned to one of the other departments

Records Management, Retention and Public Records Requests 

   • Gathering, sorting and maintaining of City records
   • Making City records available to City Departments and the public
   • Maintenance of records through the State

  • Conducts municipal elections
  • Contracts and coordinates information  with the Pinellas County Supervisor of Elections
. • Assists candidates in preparing necessary qualifying information


   • Library cards
   • Notary services
   • Public records 
   • Committee applications
   • Human resources/Employment
